Here are a few tiny shop views of the our little interim studio. I love the vintage fashion and furniture mix that Strangelovely and Hopscotch and Soda creates.

As I’m sure many of you know it’s been a very busy year for me. I moved my showroom to the WOW District at 2251 W. North Avenue and am putting the final touches on a brick and mortar location just down the street at 2511 W. North Avenue. The new location will be a collaborative space between Strangelovely and Hopscotch & Soda. We’ve decided to call it The North Avenue Collective. It will feature the best of vintage home goods, accessories and clothing. We are so excited to complete the project in early 2016.

We’re having an open house on Saturday, December 12th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Come finish your last minute holiday shopping with Strangelovely and Hopscotch & Soda. We’re making some really deep discounts on select furniture pieces. You won’t believe it. Our showroom is located at 2251 West North Avenue in Chicago. Street parking is pretty easy to find on the block. If you have any questions or get lost, please give us a call at 773-633-0826.

Just in time for the holidays, we’ve picked up a number of glamorous vintage pieces for entertaining. From gold rimmed champagne glasses and vintage china to decanters and brand new Aspen Bay Candles.

Now that we are finally settled into our temporary showroom, I’ve been able to really focus on buying new pieces. And, wow. Really. These are some of my favorites so far this fall.

The new tenants of 2511 West North Avenue had a mini photo shoot this week to preview the collaboration and merchandise mix coming to the WOW District! The Hopscotch & Soda and Strangelovely collaboration blends beautifully together and will be a lovely destination for anyone looking for a mix of home goods, clothing and accessories from a by-gone era.

A mix of lovely neutrals and bright pops of bold color make up our selection of vintage finds this week. My personal favorites are the Vintage Moroccan Rug and the Blue Velvet Sofa.
